Do I need to believe in energy work for it to be effective?

Nope! While EFT does involve tapping on acupressure points (which is rooted in energy medicine), you don’t need to believe in anything spiritual or “woo” for it to work. It’s grounded in well-researched psychological techniques and has been backed by studies for its effectiveness in reducing anxiety, stress, and more.

What does a session actually look like?

We’ll start by having a chat to uncover what’s coming up for you—whether that’s an emotion, a limiting belief, or a situation you’re struggling with. Then we’ll gently tap on specific points while I guide you through phrases to help clear the stuck energy and shift your mindset. You’re fully conscious and in control the entire time. If there is anything you don't like or don't feel comfortable with, we can stop immediately and change course.

Will I have to talk about everything in detail?

Not at all. While we can explore things deeply, EFT is incredibly effective even without sharing every detail. It’s not about reliving painful experiences—it’s about neutralising the emotional charge so you feel safe, empowered, and free.

How will I feel after a session?

Many people feel a sense of lightness, clarity, or calm—even after just one session. Others may experience emotional releases or physical sensations as energy clears. I always make sure you’re grounded and supported before we close. The effects often continue to unfold gently in the days that follow.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on your goals and what you want support with. Some shifts can happen quickly, while deeper patterns may take a little more time. We’ll always go at your pace, and I’ll give you tools you can use between sessions to continue the work on your own.
